The Bird's Nest offers a chill, whitelisted, 1.21.11 java survival server! With dedicated staff & a friendly community, we're more than happy to take you under our wing!

Our Rules

  1. No harassment, hate speech, or discrimination of any kind. This includes usernames & skins

  2. Hacking, x-raying, duping or game exploitation will result in an immediate ban

  3. No griefing (including stealing from other players)

  4. No trolling

  5. No spam (this includes purposeful death messages & all caps)

  6. No graphic NSFW discussion

  7. No soliciting/advertising

  8. No drama/arguing in chat. Let's keep it chill, it's only Minecraft!

  9. Keep chat English only, please!

  10. Most importantly, have fun!

Our Building Guidelines

general

  • Do not break, build on, or otherwise alter another player's build without their permission

  • Do not build too close to another player without their permission

  • No nether portals closer than 250 blocks from spawn

  • anti-afk kick machines are not allowed here. this includes any farm that requires auto clicking. we have an afk kick for a reason!

  • lag-busting: all large-scale farms and redstone contraptions must have an off-switch, and we just ask that you run your larger farms and auto-sorters when there isn't many others online! NO chunk loaders.

shopping district

  • no building on, altering, or extending the road

  • All shop builds must have a stocked villager shop in them

  • all builds must be a shop

  • all shops must be 3 or more blocks away from the shop(s) around them

  • All shops must be accessible from the road on foot

  • Excessively overpriced items are prohibited

  • We humbly ask that you try to limit yourself to no more than 2 separate shop buildings

  • All players have a 4 shop limit

Note: if you are inactive for over 3 months, your shop is subject for removal.

nether highway

  • All main highways must be 3 blocks wide and 4 blocks tall

  • pathways must be neat with no solid blocks in the way of the path

  • portals cannot be in the path

  • No harmful blocks such as magma

What version is the Minecraft server on?We are currently on Java Edition 1.21.11!
How do I get whitelisted?You must have Discord. Join our Discord, and navigate to the #whitelist-me channel, and drop your Minecraft username!
What difficulty is the server on?Hard mode!
What is the currency, and how do I make money?Our currency is called seeds! We are, after all, birds. We love seeds :> (the actual seed items do not work as currency) You make seeds from playtime! To get some extra seeds, you can vote for our server as well!
How many homes can I have?You can have up to 5 homes, not including your bed home.
Can I have an alt on here?Yes, but not at the same time as another account. Gotta pick one!
What mods/resource packs are allowed?Anything that provides an unfair advantage over other players, such as auto-place, is not allowed. Simple QOL mods such as minimaps or fullbright is totally fine! If you aren't sure, feel free to reach out to a staff member to clarify!
How do I make an item frame invisible?Just put an item in any item frame like normal, then shift + right click with shears to make it invisible! (Note: an item must be in the frame for this to work!) You can also shift + right click your invisible frame with a glass pane to stop item rotation!
Do you have proximity voice chat?Yes! We use Simple Voice Chat
How do I unlock a chest for other people?To unlock a chest for a specific person, do /cmodify (username) and punch the chest! To make the command persist for unlocking multiple chests, do /cpersist
What happened to the Farmer's Market?The Farmer's Market no longer exists, though the community & staff team has merged into what we have now! (We do not have the old map, sorry!)
